2012 Viña Tondonia Reserva kommer från ett mycket torrt år, med 25 mindre regn än genomsnittet (vid den tiden), vilket resulterade i lägre skördar av mycket friska druvor som gav viner med fin balans mellan alkohol och polyfenoler, vilket gjorde det mycket lämpligt för lagring på fat. Det hade en något längre élevage på fat, sex år. Vinet är aromatiskt med en utvecklad profil, kryddig och tertiär (skogsbotten, en aning tegeldamm och jod), komplext och nyanserat. Gommen är fyllig och rund, med polerade tanniner och en lång, torr avslutning. Det har en typisk Tondonia-nos och -profil. 250.000 flaskor producerade.
