Doften av 2008 Viña Tondonia Reserva är mycket elegant, frisk och med en örtig twist, och börjar visa komplexiteten hos de lagrade vinerna som ibland fortfarande är för unga när de släpps 10 år efter årgången! Smaken är medelfyllig, med lätthet och djup, mycket klassisk med extra friskhet och allt som behövs för en lång utveckling på flaska. Detta är den mer Tondonia av de två årgångarna som jag provade sida vid sida. Här finns toner av lönnsirap, rök, lakrits och krispig frukt. Smaken är mer stram, krispig och avslöjar jordmånens kalkighet. Det finns mer definition och precision här.
