Produced without any added sulfites, the 2016 -SO2 is very similar to the Taleia, mostly Sauvignon Blanc with some Semillon with 50% of the volume aged in oak barrels for eight months and a further three months with lees. The low pH and high acidity will probably help it develop in bottle. I found it less focused than the regular Taleia, with some apple aromas and a lactic and biscuity touch, even a little cheesy (Roquefort?). The palate is balanced and fresh, quite loose and relaxed. 2,500 bottles were filled in August 2017.
