Comprar Vino de Condado de Haza
Hablar de Condado de Haza es regresar a la niñez; ese recuerdo cuando de pequeños nuestros padres bebían en los días de diario vino Rioja en copa tipo duralex y los platos de comer eran transparentes con blondas en los bordes…que recuerdos aquellos! Uno no se imaginaba que tras los vinos de Rioja existiera algo más. Luego llegaban los actos festivos donde todo valía y en las comidas familiares se optaba por un plus por lo que se descorchaba alguna gloria y entonces aparecían los vinos de Alejandro Fernández Pesquera: Tinto Pesquera y Condado de Haza. Miras atrás, reflexionas y te das cuenta de lo mucho que ha cambiado el panorama vinícola y de las preferencias por los vinos, quizás, de un corte más moderno ¿Y tú, eres amante de los buenos clásicos?
Condado de Haza nace en 1987 cuando Alejandro Fernández descubre una ladera a orillas del río Duero que presumía de unas condiciones inmejorables para elaborar uno de los mejores vinos de la denominación de origen Ribera del Duero; una parcela con una ligera pendiente que termina en el río Duero donde la mezcla de suelos de arcillas y gravas con algún canto rodado resultan interesantes. Primero Alejandro se hizo con unas pocas hectáreas de Tempranillo pero en el transcurso de los años terminó comprando parcelas a más de 200 agricultores del municipio de Roa hasta conseguir un total de las 200 hectáreas que poseen actualmente. Durante los primeros años de construcción de la bodega Alejandro llevó a cabo las operaciones de vinificación en su otra bodega Tinto Pesquera.
Pero, para Alejandro el tiempo no pasa y su forma de trabajar el viñedo y el trato con el vino sigue siendo el mismo; todavía sigue aplicando su criterio de selección en el viñedo y según el estado sanitario y la madurez destinará sus uvas de Condado de Haza para vinos crianza, reserva o bien gran reserva. Así pues, sólo existen tres vinos además de alguna edición especial que saca sólo en años excepcionales. ¿Cuáles son los vinos de Condado de Haza? Condado de Haza Crianza responde a un vino envejecido 18 meses en barricas de roble americano y con ese gusto tan añejo de aquellos vinos del pasado donde se conjugaba cierta astringencia y verdor….sabor del pasado!; Condado de Haza Reserva nace en el pago Viña Valera y posteriormente es envejecido durante 22 meses sin apenas trasiegos. Es un vino de ensueño, elegante, rico en especias y aquí sí que podemos decir que hay terciopelo en estado puro; y Alenza es una selección especial que no ocurre todos los años. Quizás sea un vino con más complejidad y cierta austeridad que su hermano Condado de Haza Reserva. ¿Será que Alejandro interpreta su selección como algo de corte más moderno?
