El Viña Real Reserva 2017 muestra características más avanzadas que el 2018 que probé a su lado. Tiene notas de suelo de bosque entremezcladas con toques de fruta, bayas en licor y algunas especias. 2017 fue un año muy exigente, y el vino evoluciona a un ritmo más rápido. Tiene 13,9 de alcohol y un pH de 3,54, presentándose pulido y listo para beber ahora. En su mayor parte es Tempranillo, con otras 10 uvas; Graciano, Garnacha y Mazuelo. Maduró en barrica durante 18 meses. Se produjeron 174.000 botellas. Se embotelló en marzo de 2020.
