Comprar Vino de Château Nenin
Château Nenin es una propiedad fundada en el municipio de Pomerol perteneciente a la familia Delon desde el año 1997. Anteriormente y desde el año 1847, ésta era gestionada por la familia Despujols, primos de los Delon. Resulta curioso ver como Nenin es el único domaine de todo Pomerol que cuenta con la mayor extensión de viñedo con sus 32 hectáreas en producción; el resto de châteaux localizados en el área de Pomerol son minifundios con apenas 4 hectáreas y una pequeña cosecha.
Con la adquisición de Nenin por parte de la familia Delon y experimentados en el sector del vino, ya que al mismo tiempo son los propietarios de Léoville Las Cases en Saint Julien y Potensac en Médoc, se restructuró la propiedad y se replantaron algunas partes del viñedo. Así, constatamos que Nenin es château un tanto atípico y que produce vinos densos y estructurados en contra de sus vecinos que elaboran vinos sedosos y aterciopelados.
¿Cómo es el terroir en Château Nenin? Diversos suelos de componente aluvial y de grava configuran el panorama vinícola aquí: arcilla silicia y grava, cuarzo, granito, depósitos de hierro y basalto. Otro hecho curioso es que Nenin es la única bodega en apostar por la variedad Cabernet Sauvignon (10%), típica del departamento del Médoc. También conviven las variedades Merlot (70%) y Cabernet Franc (20%) con una edad media de 30 años y una densidad de plantación de 6000 cepas por hectárea. En 1999, la familia Delon amplió 4 hectáreas de viña provenientes de Château Certan Giraud y la maison Jean Pierre Moueix compró el viñedo restante de donde nace Hosanna.
¿Y los vinos? Con el apoyo de Michel Rolland como enólogo consultor elaboran dos vinos mediante las técnicas de vinificación más tradicionales; Château Nenin, el primer vino, es contundente con aromas de trufa, cereza, cacao y de estilo masculino. Necesita tiempo en botella para domar los taninos; y la Fugue de Nenin, segundo vino, es la opción adecuada si deseas beberlo en plena juventud aunque falto de identidad!
