Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The intention of the 2018 Aloers is to go one step further from the initial Miranius; it's still unoaked but has more density, tension and acidity, and it was macerated with the skins for a few hours and kept with the lees for a while. There are some smoky/leesy notes, but the wine feels very pure and transparent, which is the overall Credo style. It wants to show Xarello without interferences and has varietal notes of fennel, low alcohol (10.5%), sustained acidity and low pH, something they have learned from their experience with their sparkling wines. It seems to improve in precision and transparency with each new vintage. 13,000 bottles produced.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aging on lees in stainless steel tanks.
Aloers is a young white wine made exclusively from Xarel-lo grapes by the Celler Credo winery in the Catalonia region of Spain.
The name Aloers was given in Catalan in the Middle Ages to farmers who owned their land and did not have to pay any tribute.
The grapes for this magnificent wine come from a vineyard cultivated more than 50 years ago on calcareous soils and following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture for the preservation of the ecosystem.
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected to guarantee their excellent quality. In the winery, the must is left to macerate for a few hours with the grape skins and skins. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeast from the Celler Credo vineyard.
Subsequently, in order to give the wine finesse and structure, the wine was aged for a month in stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 6 months.
Aloers is a white wine with delicious floral aromas and mineral hints. On the palate it is unctuous and elegant with a rather salty finish and a sustained, fresh and natural acidity. The winery has made sure to delight the palate.
A fresh, vibrant, exciting wine
Aloers is a wine of great vivacity with a long bottle life thanks to minimal intervention both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
It also represents the best expression of the Mediterranean xarel-lo and the terroir produced by the Celler Credo winery.
In the gastronomic field, this wine is perfect as an aperitif and to accompany meals such as risottos, seafood, white fish and rice dishes.
