Antoine Jobard is the son of François Jobard, a respected winemaker who retired in 2007 but who continues to influence growing practices. Antoine has taken the reins of the winery, and is considered by many to have surpassed his father in making white Burgundy wines. François Jobard is known for his meticulous work in the vineyards and the depth and structure of his wines. Vineyards

Antoine Jobard 's vineyards extend over almost six hectares, located on some of Meursault's best parcels. The plots include the Genevrières, Poruzots and Charmes, which are the most prestigious vineyards. In addition, the winery owns four Bourgogne plots and several village vineyards, such as En la Barre and Les Tillets. In 2019, Antoine acquired new Pinot Noir vineyards from the former Pommard winery, André Mussy, expanding his portfolio with vineyards in Pommard Epenots, Pézerolles and Les Saussilles, as well as some parcels in Volnay and Beaune Premiers Crus.
The soil in these vineyards is varied and rich in minerals, which contributes to the distinctive character of the winery's wines. Burgundy's climate, with cold winters and warm summers, is ideal for growing the grape varieties used by Antoine Jobard, allowing optimal ripening and the development of complex flavours.

In winemaking, no yeasts are added, very little new wood is used and no filtration is carried out. Antoine uses 15% new oak, mainly from the Damy de Meursault cooperage. There is no bâtonnage and fermentations are carried out at a high level of solids, which is key to the powerful, long-lived style of his wines. Fermentations are notoriously slow and the wines can remain in barrel for up to 20 months before bottling, following the winery's tradition of bottling later.
Antoine Jobard is characterised by his humility and his refusal to take credit for the accolades received for the "new" style of the wines, which he attributes to climatic changes rather than his own interventions. Antoine's wines are more open in their youth than his father's, with added precision and transparency, and less reduction.
