Lagar de Fornelos winery was purchased in 1988 by Rioja Alta group. Placed in O Rosal County, with 75 hectares of trellised vineyards, they produce wines under Rías Baixas designation of origin. Here they only grow Albariño variety in a climate that reminds us of the French Alsace region. In a landscape where holms oaks and eucalyptus are intertwined, the vineyards are embraced by the Miño River.
