- Browse through the different sections of the website and select your favorite wine. Add as many bottle of wine as you want by clicking on “Buy” button. Remember you can easily find your most-liked wines using the search engine as well as the search filters.
- Complete your selection and access your basket by clicking on "Basket / Checkout", which you will always have visible in the upper right. Check carefully that all the items and quantities are correct before continuing your purchase process. Apply your discount coupon if you have one. In order to know the shipping costs, just select the country destination.
- Click on the "Shipping Data" button, and then complete the recipient delivery address and data. You can add the billing information that may be different from the delivery address and / or recipient by clicking on "Invoice" key. In Gourmet Hunters, in order to make a purchase, you do not need to sign in.
- Select your preferred shipping method despite our website would always list the cheapest option working to your destination country. Select your preferred method of payment: Credit card, bank transfer, PayPal or any local payment methods available from the country you place the order.
- Finish your purchase by clicking the "Pay Securely" button. All transactions are made in a secure and encrypted environment (SSL). Once the payment has been successful, you will receive an email confirming the payment of your order.

In Gourmet Hunters, the payments by card are made through a protected and secure bank protocol. Once you have made your purchase, you can always check the status of your order by accessing My Account. For the first purchase in Hunters Gourmet you do not need to be registered, an account will be created automatically. You will receive an email with the new user password. With the information of your new account you will be able to follow up your orders and speed up your next purchases.
Orders usually leave our warehouse within approximately 24-48 business hours after you make your order unless you have chosen the payment by transfer which should be pending to be shipped until the payment has been received in our bank. Keep in mind that the times may vary depending on our available stock.
Once we sent your order, you will receive an email where you will be notified that your order is in transit as well as the tracking number and shipping company name, few hours later. You can check here the transit times for each country.
Gourmet Hunters owns a massive warehouse containing most of stock available. In addition, we rely on a widely used network of suppliers to quickly provide any catalog product. Fast-moving wines are subject to change, due vintage, without prior notice by some of the wineries. That is why in case of detecting any change of vintage that should affect your order; we count on a devoted customer service department that would contact you in order to ask for your acceptance.
In the wine world, it is difficult to know if a wine is in good conditions or not before uncorking the bottle; wine is a living element in constant transformation and alterations may appear, though very rarely, caused by the presence of excessive amounts of particular compounds. For this reason, if the wine you ordered and received has any defects (TCA, volatile acidity, brettanomyces, sulfides...), we will replace your defective wine for a new one with no extra charges or we will refund your money and will take care of any shipping cost. If you have received any bottle in bad conditions, you can simply contact us to arrange its collection within 30 days of receiving your order. That is our guarantee to our customers.
Remember that for any bottle in bad conditions prepared to be sent back, we must receive a minimum of 70% of the wine in each bottle therefore we should assess its status and accept the replacement or refund outcome.

Gourmet Hunters has access to international auctions where important wineries or collectors offer old wines which are highly sought-after for collectors and wine enthusiasts. Although a strictly confidence etiquette is managed for selling and buying these wines, Gourmet Hunters cannot guarantee the status and the optimal conservation during its long history. We cannot be held responsible for the quality of the wine and therefore cannot be claimed. In any case, please do not hesitate in contacting us if you wish to receive more detailed information on each wine.
Yes. In the Shipping Data information, after confirming your basket/checkout, enter the recipient full name and delivery address where you want your gift should be shipped to. You can include a gift message with your order that we will attach to. The recipient will just receive the gift and a packing list so that it can be checked with the content; nevertheless, not invoice with prices will be sent.
If your order has not yet left our warehouse, please contact our Customer Service Department, stating your order number and any changes you want to do.The original delivery date may be altered due unexpected changes or stock availability at that time.
Please note that once your order has been shipped, we will send you an email confirmation and your order will no longer be possible to cancel or modify it.

If the reason for the return is that the wine does not meet your full expectations and you ordered more bottles, then you have a maximum 14 calendar days from the delivery date you received your order to return us the remaining bottles to our store. In this case, we will refund the price paid for every bottle received in perfect conditions by the same payment method applied when your order was originally made. The customer may pay all the return shipping costs involved in his return order.We recommend that you keep the original packaging during the next 14 calendar days to ensure safe transport in case of return.
All orders from Gourmet Hunters are subject to embrace an ultimate packaging system of certified and approved well equipped boxes made by leading shipping companies in order to avoid breakage however we know accidents may occur during shipping.
If upon receipt of your order you detect spots or leaks of liquid, please do not accept the package nor sign the delivery note. The shipping company will contact us and we will take care of managing a new shipment without extra expenses for you or we will make total refund to you.
If you did not detect the order issues immediately and even accepted the parcel, please contact us within 24 hours after delivery, sending us pictures of the condition of the parcel and the broken bottles in order to handle the claim with the shipping company. Only in this case, we may replacement the broken bottles at no extra cost or we will refund the money.
If your permanent residence is in Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or outside the European Union and you plan to leave the EU territory for the 3 months following your purchase, then you are entitled to claim the VAT refund presenting your purchase invoices. Please have a look at “VAT Refund on Travelers” section. Do not hesitate in contacting us and remember to attach the invoices correctly presented to Customs by stamping, in order for us to be able to refund the VAT by the same payment method originally used when your order was made.
