Description
Karnage Plouk Blanc is a blanc de noirs (red grapes vinified in a white version) made from the Ploussard variety in Pupillin, specifically from the "La Rouge" plot in Jura.
Winemaking
Whole bunches are used, pressed directly and subjected to rapid fermentation in tank. After this process, the wine is bottled in November without sulphites added during its production.
Taste
Karnage Plouk Blanc is a symphony of flavours and aromas. Its colour is a translucent orange. On the nose it gives off aromas of grapefruit and lemon zest, which mingle with a touch of umami on the palate. But that's not all, as this wine also surprises us with notes of green peach and apricot. As the temperature of the wine rises, one can perceive nuances of banana and cashew nuts, as well as a touch of mango, vanilla and soap. At 11.2% alcohol by volume, this wine is a sensory experience that combines tradition, passion and the richness of the Jura terroir.
