Features

Description

The Karnage Lilian Laklande wine, although it has its roots in Jura, the grapes used for this particular wine come from Alsace, specifically from the village of Ergersheim in the Lower Rhine. The grape variety used is 100% Auxerrois, which is known for its distinctive taste and its ability to produce high quality wines.

Winemaking

The Auxerrois grapes are vinified whole bunch, which involves a 3-week carbonic maceration. This process allows the grapes to ferment in their own juice, resulting in a wine with a more intense flavour and aroma. After maceration, the grapes are pressed and the resulting wine is aged in stainless steel tanks without racking. This process guarantees the purity and freshness of the wine. The wine was bottled in May of the following year and contains no added sulphites.

Taste

Karnage Lilian Laklande is a wine that stands out for its concentration and texture. Thanks to the 3-week whole cluster maceration(orange wine), this wine has a more concentrated and textural character than other wines produced with different winemaking techniques.
