Description

Karnage Greska is one of the wines from Stéphane Planche & Charles Dagand 's project that has captured the attention of many wine lovers. Produced in the Jura region of France, this wine is the result of the passion and dedication of its creators. It is mainly made from two grape varieties: Grenache Blanc (85%) purchased from David Caër in the department of l'Herault and Muscat d'Alexandrie (15%) purchased from Vincent Lafage in Languedoc-Roussillon.

Winemaking

Vinification, although it follows the same process for each variety, is carried out individually. The procedure is divided into two parts: the first half consists of a direct pressing, while the second half uses whole bunches that are macerated for 10 days in the juice resulting from the direct pressing. This meticulous process culminates with bottling in November 2022, and it is important to note that no sulphites are added at any stage of production.

Flavour

Karnage Greska is a wine that surprises from the first sip. Its flavour is a combination of fruity and floral notes, with a touch of minerality that gives it a distinctive character. The presence of Garnacha Blanca gives it freshness and vivacity, while the Muscat contributes sweeter and more floral aromas.
