Description
La Grita wine comes from an 85-year-old vineyard planted with Parellada, near the town of Montblanc, belonging to Pilar Rosell's family. This plot of approximately 3 hectares is located about 400 metres above sea level on alluvial soils with a high percentage of calcareous clay, typical of the Conca region.
A beautiful project called Els Bardissots, which has its origin thanks to the passion of Pilar Rosell, Pep Pou and Oriol Artigas, who coincided in a wine course led by Oriol himself.
From that moment on, they noticed that they were united by their passion and enthusiasm for wine and its origins, so they decided to create their own wine, with the intention of valuing and recognising the wine legacy of Vallès Oriental Norte or Baix Montseny.
Elaboration
The elaboration of this wine begins with a completely artisanal process of harvesting and distillation, followed by maceration techniques lasting 1 week in stainless steel tanks.
Then, traditional crushing and pressing strategies are applied to promote alcoholic fermentation. This is carried out with yeasts indigenous to the area. Finally, it is aged for 6 months in stainless steel barrels with a veil of flor.
Taste
Thanks to the Parellada variety, its flavour is incredibly unique. It is a bright and agile wine in the glass, whose greyish tones denote its youth, the fruity notes of white fruit highlight the citrus and once in the glass the aromas increase making it more elegant.
It is a balanced wine, with a certain acidity that denotes freshness, with permanence on the palate after tasting.

There are wines that have managed to conquer the most demanding palates with their freshness and complexity, La Grita is one of them. It is ideal for pairing with sushi, lightly cooked white meats and soft cheeses.
