Between 16ºC and 18ºC
Aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.
Sierra Cantabria Crianza is a red wine made with the best winemaking techniques of the Eguren family, with a pleasant flavour and sophisticated nuances. It is a single varietal wine made from Tempranillo grapes, with respectful and completely organic viticulture.
The vineyards are located in San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Labastida, in the D. O. Ca. La Rioja, an area characterised by its arid climatic conditions and calcareous and clay soils. The ideal environment for the grapes to be perfect.
The grapes are harvested and destemmed by hand under strict sanitary control. Once the must is extracted, it undergoes a controlled fermentation process with the region's own yeasts, followed by a period of fermentation on the skins for approximately 21 days.
After this time, the wine spends a certain period in French and American oak barrels. In this part of the process, racking also takes place to remove any sediment. In total, the entire ageing process can take approximately 14 months.
On the nose, its distinctive olfactory notes comprise woody nuances, with hints of coffee, dried leaves and berries. On the palate, its flavour is spicy and deep, with an appropriate balance between alcohol and acidity. The tannins are balanced and the finish is complex.
Great taste at the best price
Due to its organoleptic characteristics, Sierra Cantabria Crianza is the ideal red wine to accompany pâtés, stews, c asseroles and strong-flavoured meats such as veal. It is also perfect for pairing with fatty cheeses or baked poultry.
As an additional point, this wine represents the perfect alternative for those who want to enjoy the best flavour of La Rioja at a really economic price. A great taste without overspending.
