I tasted the final blend of the 2024 Laurel, which was ready to be bottled in a few days. It came down to 89% Garnacha and 11% Syrah and has ripe strawberry notes, freshly cut grass and aromatic herbs, with a peachy and ripe whiff. It's subtle and harmonious, juicy and round, with finer tannins, concentrated but balanced. There are no edges; it's quite smooth. With time in the glass, it develops a beautiful note of white flowers. There are some 19,000 bottles that should be filled sometime in May 2026.
