Description
The orange wine En Route Mauvais Troupe is a creation of Stéphane Cyran, originally from Lorraine. This wine is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Chasselas and Sylvaner grape varieties.
Winemaking
The grapes were harvested in a single day from a 50-year-old plot in the village of Eguisheim, in the Alsace region. The winemaking process for this wine is meticulous: the grapes are macerated in whole bunches for five days before being slowly pressed by hand. Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine then rests in the same tanks for 1 year. The wine is bottled without fining, filtering or adding sulphites.
Taste
En Route Mauvais Troupe is characterised by a soft and delicate citrus aroma. On the palate, this wine stands out for its abundant minerality and acidity on the finish, providing a balanced and refreshing taste experience. The combination of these characteristics makes this wine a versatile and pleasant choice for a variety of palates.
