The 2023 Ruppertsberg Village Riesling trocken opens with a remarkably coolish, pure and refined, a little crunchy bouquet with bright and elegant fruit and smoky aromas intermingled with reduced phenolic notes. Lean and elegant on the palate yet with ripe and juicy fruit, this is a very fine and elegant-finishing Riesling whose savory grip and tension will be better integrated after a few years of bottle age. 12% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in January 2025.
