Buy Wine from La Combe aux Rêves
La Combe aux Rêves is the winery founded by Gregoire Perron. Its natural wines convey exclusivity and confidentiality: it produces only 6,000 bottles a year. In 2010, he moved with his partner Judicaëlle to Journans, a small village on the edge of the Bugey area in the Rhône-Alpes region (France). There, he learned the trade from several renowned winegrowers and then went on to create La Combe aux Rêves, 'the valley of dreams'.
Vineyard of La Combe aux Rêves
Gregoire Perron owns 2.5 hectares which, although not in the Jura, are part of the Jura Massif. Gregoire, which has a huge variety of terroirs, organically grows different types of grapes. Poulsard, Chardonnay, Gamay, Pinot Noir, Mondeuse Noire, Gueusche Noir, Durif, Altesse, Jacquere and Savagnin. They are divided into more than two dozen plots, sometimes forming only a few rows. Their vineyards are protected without the use of chemicals, mowing or ploughing.La Combe aux Rêves wines
The wines of La Combe aux Rêves are natural wines. All their bottles are produced without addition, clarification or filtration. Their fragrant and light, La Combe aux Rêves Black Hole 2017, has a carbonic maceration for 15 days with whole grape harvest without destemming. It undergoes spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts and is aged for 12 months in demi-muids. La Combe aux Rêves Le Communard 2015 is a young, fruity and juicy red wine. It is made from Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes, with carbonic maceration for eight days, and aged for 24 months in tanks.
