Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
I tasted again the 2023 Brut Nature Blanco; this time with both 18 and 24 months with lees in the bottle, and it wouldn't surprise you when I tell you that the wine that had 24 months in bottle had a different level of complexity and nuance. So imagine the comparison with the 2023 wine I tasted last year that had only 12 months in bottle. This has elegance and complexity, freshness and balance. It was produced with local grapes Xarel.lo, Macabeo, Garnacha Negra, Malvasía de Sitges and Xarel.lo Vermell with 11.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.05. The bubbles are abundant but fine and give it texture. Time is golden... 95,000 bottles produced. All the bottles have the disgorgement date on the back label. The note and score are for a bottle disgorged in February 2026.

Description
Recaredo L'Infinit is a wine born from the creative non-conformism of the Recaredo family, the emblem of terroir sparkling wines in Corpinnat. Inspired by the multiple expressive possibilities of the Alt Penedès landscape, Recaredo L'Infinit is conceived as a tribute to the territory, but also as an exploration towards new horizons. The idea arose as a challenge: to create a wine with a radically pure, honest and uncompromising profile, capable of speaking with its own voice in a world of complacent wines.
Made from native varieties - Xarel.lo, Macabeu, Garnacha Negra, Xarel.lo Vermell and Malvasía de Sitges -this organic Brut Nature is the result of a biodiversity-friendly cultivation. The vines take root in highly expressive calcareous soils, while the Mediterranean climate with continental influence provides tension and freshness, key to its identity.
Winemaking
Vinification takes place entirely on the estate, without additives or shipping liquor. The second fermentation is carried out in the bottle with indigenous yeasts, and the minimum ageing on lees is 18 months. The whole process is guided by a vision of minimal intervention, allowing Recaredo L'Infinit to speak with the accent of its origin.
Taste
Recaredo L'Infinit is subtle on the nose, with notes of wet stone, white flowers, fresh citrus and a slight smoky echo of its ageing. The bubbles, still in the process of integration, are firm and vibrant. On the palate, it is sharp and dry, with a sharp acidity that tightens the palate and leaves a saline trail. Hints of crisp pear, lemon peel, green almonds and a slightly aniseed finish add complexity without detracting from the verticality. It is a sober, precise and uncontrived wine that demands attention and rewards with an authentic expression of the Corpinnat landscape.
