La Bota de Ron 65 Bota NO

Description
This rum comes from one of the magnificent casks, formerly of old oloroso, from the solera that supplies our prestigious Rum bottled since 2013 at cask strength in 75 cl. bottles only for the United States. The difference is that in this case it is a single butt that we have exceptionally emptied for this saca; also that it has not been bottled at more than 50% alc. which is the boot graduation, but at a more "civilized" 44% alc.
Ebetween fifteen and twenty years of aging for a truly flagship rum. La Bota de Ron Muy Viejo 65 "Bota NO" shows a round heart, consistent with its sugar cane origin, as opposed to the greater finesse of La Bota de Malt Whisky 66 and, above all, La Bota de Brandy 64. But the palate is smooth, a textbook example of the "iron fist in kid glove" ideal that characterizes many of the highest quality distillates. It has not been chill-filtered and, following an unbreakable rule for Equipo Navazos, has no aromatic additives, sweetness, color or otherwise.
