Description
Jordi Llorens Blankaforti is a red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache Tinta, Parellada and Syrah by the Celler Jordi Llorens winery in Blancafort, Conca de Barberà in Spain.
The grapes used to make this wine come from vineyards that have been planted on soils composed of limestone, sandstone, red marl and gypsum.
These vineyards are located between 400 and 600 metres above sea level and framed by a slightly cool Mediterranean climate due to its altitude and the fact that it is 35 km from the sea.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and a precise selection of the grapes is carried out to guarantee their excellent quality. The must is left in the winery for a semi carbonic maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts.
Subsequently, the wine is aged for 6 months in stainless steel. No sulphur dioxide is added and the wine is bottled without filtering or fining.

Jordi Llorens Blankaforti is a red wine with many floral and fruity nuances that blend elegantly. On the palate it is characterised by its tannins and acidity and a long finish in the bottle.
