Description
Pagès Content is a red wine made from Xarel-lo and Parellada grapes by the Celler La Salada winery in the region of Catalonia.
This red wine comes from old vineyards planted on very deep calcareous clay soils which are cultivated in an environmentally friendly way.
These vineyards are cultivated with minimal intervention, without chemical fertilizers, following ecological premises and with the addition of organic nutrients.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand. The grapes are collected in small boxes and transported to the winery. There, alcoholic fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, in contact with the skins.
Afterwards, the wine is aged for 7 months in stainless steel tanks. All the work in the winery, including bottling, is done without fining, without filtering, without adding SO2 or any other product and is done according to the lunar calendar.
Taste
Pagès Content is a juicy red wine with fruity aromas, floral notes and spicy touches. In the mouth it is smooth, fresh and easy to drink. A wine with present acidity, a fluid texture and a long, pleasant finish.

Pagès Content means in Catalan the happy farmer and is a tribute to the vines that have never known ploughing or chemistry and that are worked in a totally artisanal way and following the lunar cycles.
In the gastronomic field this sparkling wine will be perfect as an aperitif and is ideal to accompany cold meats and red meats.
