Cune Rosado has been elaborated by the CVNE group, which is integrated by the wineries Cune, Contino and Viña Real. This wine is produced from Tempranillo grapes from their vineyards in Sajazarra, Ascazarra and Cerecillo (Rioja Alta).
These vineyards have an average age between 8 and 20 years old, planted on trellises on cool, clay-loam soils in La Rioja Alta.
In the gastronomic area, it is the perfect companion for all kinds of appetizers and dishes such as rice, seafood and Asian food.
The grapes are harvested by hand, selecting the clusters of Tempranillo grapes and the vatting is done in stainless steel tanks, maintaining temperatures of 10-12º C to initially avoid fermentation.
When the must obtains the desired pink color, it is bled within 24 to 48 hours after vatting. The fermentation process is carried out at a controlled temperature of between 16º C and 18ºC to maintain the aromas and fruit that characterize this wine.
Cune Rosé is a wine where a good fruity combination with floral aromas and a correct acidity that provides freshness and persistence is perceived. In the end of mouth the perception of the aroma is prolonged in a pleasant way.
