Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2018 La Tour de Mons has a deep garnet-purple color, shuffling out of the glass with sluggish stewed plums and baked cherries scents, plus hints of damp dirt and wild fungi. The medium-bodied palate has a chewy texture and not altogether clean fruit, finishing unpleasant. I'll give this a question mark, hoping this was a bad bottle, but it really doesn't appear like a case of bottle variation.
