Description
Petit Caus Rosé is not just a wine, it is a modern interpretation of what a Mediterranean rosé should be: fresh, light and casual. It is, without a doubt, the gateway to the world of Can Rafols dels Caus, a range of wines created by Carlos Esteva with the aim of offering drinks that are casual and easy to enjoy.
Elaboration
As for its composition, Petit Caus Rosé is made from a combination of varieties including Garnacha, Tempranillo, Merlot and Pinot Noir. Each of these varieties ferments spontaneously and separately at a controlled temperature for 30 days in stainless steel tanks. This winemaking process guarantees the preservation of the unique characteristics of each variety, resulting in a balanced and harmonious wine.
Taste
Petit Caus Rosé reveals an expressive aroma that combines floral notes, specifically of roses, with hints of red fruit. This aromatic combination avoids falling into the clichés of rosé wines that tend to remind us of sweets. On the palate, it is surprisingly fresh and moderately sweet. Its good acidity gives it a lively character, while its persistence on the palate ensures a long-lasting aftertaste.
