Features

Description

Peternell Risque Ruzový, a wine that comes from the lands of Neusiedl am See, in the region of Neusiedlersee, Austria. This wine is a creation of the Kollektiv Peternell winery, located in Carnuntum, Petronell-Carnuntum, and it has earned a special place among the lovers of good wine.
The varieties that make up this wine are Pinot Gris (45%), Sankt Laurent (45%) and Merlot (10%). These grapes grow on gravelly clay and clay-limestone soils, which gives them unique characteristics and a distinctive taste.

Winemaking

Peternell Risque Ruzový is made without destemming, with a 2-day joint maceration. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts, and malolactic fermentation also takes place. After this process, the wine is aged for 7 months in stainless steel tanks, which gives it freshness and a crisp texture.

Taste

In Peternell Risque Ruzový, we find a rosé wine, natural and calm. Its fresh, crisp taste is a delight to the palate, and its properties, such as an alcohol content of 12% and a residual sugar level of less than 2 g/l, make it ideal to accompany a variety of dishes. The sulphur content is less than 10, indicating that it is a low sulphite wine.
