Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola Blanco 2025
£13.07 (Inc. VAT bot. 75 cl.) / North Ireland
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The very young Mediterranean white 2025 Blanco was produced with 33% each of Viognier, Macabeo and Merseguera, with Moscatel contributing the final 1%. The grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts and high turbidity in search of freshness and a reductive side. It shows a slight reduction, possibly from the recent bottling, and notes of citrus, fennel and freshly cut grass emerged slowly. It has good ripeness and 13% alcohol, keeping a pH of 3.3. The palate showed even better; it is textured and round, with freshness, purity of flavors and a tasty, almost salty finish. It will be better in a few months. 35,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2025.
