Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2014 Brut Nature is the first Cava I ever tasted from Mas Candí, a classical blend of 60% Xarello, 20% Macabeo, 15% (red) Sumoll and 5% Parellada, offered without dosage and disgorged in June 2016. It has a reticent, somehow shy nose that is clean and takes some time to display some white flowers. It's evidently young (the vintage is not that easy to find as it's embedded on the lot number), but it feels quite balanced and the bubbles are nicely integrated providing some creamy texture. A pleasant Cava. 15,000 bottles produced.
