Louis Terral Lucie is a unique expression of the Gamay variety, grown in the Bugey region of France. This wine is named after Lucie Aubrac, a prominent member of the French resistance, and reflects a spirit of endurance and character in its winemaking and taste.
Winemaking
Louis Terral Lucie stands out for its focus on purity and elegance. Produced from 50-year-old vineyards on steep, almost impassable sites, this wine is the result of meticulous viticultural practices. Biodynamic and organic methods, certified by Demeter, are employed, ensuring a deep respect for nature. Vinification is carried out with indigenous yeasts, without the addition of sulphites or other inputs, and the wine is not filtered. This natural and environmentally friendly process contributes to the quality and distinctive character of the wine.

Louis Terral Lucie offers an intense and sophisticated taste experience. It is characterised by rustic red fruit flavours, balanced with a savoury edge and a mouthfeel reminiscent of cold mountain climates. This Gamay is described as an"iron fist in a velvet glove", highlighting its subtle intensity.
