Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The new name of Peligrés is 2020 La Ramba del Peligrés; it's still the same wine but now reflects the full name of the Garnacha vineyard from which it originates. It that has some 5% Garnacha Gris grapes in the field blend. They used 30% full clusters, uncrushed berries and an additional 10% of the riper stems for the native fermentation in concrete vats and a 15-day maceration. The wine went through malolactic and six months' aging in 2,000- and 3,000-liter concrete vats. Unfortunately, I found very pungent notes of tempera paint, wet fur and leather and a meaty side. The palate was dry and astringent with slightly feral notes. A question mark. 4,000 bottles were filled in May 2021.
