Located near La Lagune and Cantemerle, this estate is now certified organic. The 2022 Paloumey is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. It has expressive aromas of tobacco leaf, cherries, plum and graphite. It’s medium-bodied, supple and juicy, but there is also alluring freshness and elegant tannins, although the finish is a touch austere.
