Parotet was not produced in 2023 because of the issues they suffered with the green leafhopper, and it comes back strong with the 2024 Parotet, which shows the new direction, as the Mandó was replaced with Forcallà. It's now 70% Arcos and 30% Forcallà, and it's the idea for the future, maybe with small changes in the percentages, as they foresee more Forcallà in the future. It was a little closed at first, but the nose unfurled beautiful notes of violets, red berries, blood oranges and cracked pepper, a little Barolo, with fine-grained tannins and an ability to make you salivate. It comes in at 13% alcohol, with a pH of 3.5 and 4.41 grams of acidity. It's profound and complex, spicy, fresh, balanced and super tasty. The combination of these two grape varieties has been a revelation. The wine is elegant and possibly the finest Parotet to date. It's delicious and a real bargain for the quality it delivers. 3,600 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2025.
