Blanc D'Orto Brisat 2022
£22.32 (Inc. VAT bot. 75 cl.) / North Ireland
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The one white I tasted was the 2021 Blanc d'Orto Brisat, a Garnacha Blanca with some skin contact (but apparently they have also experimented with a much more 'orange' white...). It is aromatic and floral with very good freshness, acidity and balance, clean and focused flavors and a long, dry finish. It has 13.66% alcohol, moderate for Garnacha, and with a low pH of 3.21. It spent six months in 500-liter barrels but shows no oak whatsoever. 1,300 bottles were filled in the spring of 2022.
