Battenfeld Spanier Eisquell Riesling Trocken is a white wine of exceptional quality, originating from Hohen-Sülzen, a region known for its limestone-rich soils in the Zellertal valley, in the Wonnegau of Rheinhessen, Germany. This wine is a single varietal, made exclusively from Riesling grapes.
Winemaking
The production of this wine begins with a careful selection of grapes, which grow in a unique microclimate, benefiting from warm days and cool nights. This environment contributes to the perfect ripening of the grapes, allowing a balanced development of acidity and elegance. The grapes are harvested by hand, ensuring the selection of the best bunches. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented spontaneously. Vinification is carried out in stainless steel tanks, and the wine is kept on the lees until spring, which gives it greater complexity and texture.
