Description
AT Roca Costers de la D.O. Penedés seeks to be the expression of the most Mediterranean landscape of the Penedés. This white wine, from the municipality of Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs, is composed of 90% Xarel-lo and 10% Malvasia de Sitges. The elaboration and ageing of this wine is carried out 40% in 3.000L foudres, 20% in 500L barrels and the remaining 40% in stainless steel vats.
Taste
AT Roca Costers has a pale yellow colour with hints of new gold. On the nose, it is clean, frank and elegant, with floral aromas, white fruit and vineyard peach, complemented by a background of light smoky notes. On tasting, it feels balanced, with a mineral attack and good acidity that gives it nerve and freshness. The palate is full, creamy and flavoursome, in perfect harmony with the fruity aromas, with floral notes of orange blossom, fresh fruit and saline notes. Finally, it leaves a long and pleasant aftertaste, highlighting the minerality provided by the chalky soils.
