Description

Oriol Artigas La Rauxa is a white wine that comes from the cultivation and processing of Pansa Blanca, grown in very old vineyards that are more than 60 years old.
Its soils are made up of white and pink granite sands, and it is located at altitudes ranging between 100 and 350 metres above sea level. These elements justify the characteristic salinity of this type of wine.
Like other Oriol Artigas wines, it carries in its taste the philosophy of its creator, where the techniques of origin are of minimum intervention.

Winemaking

To make Oriol Artigas La Rauxa wine, the harvesting process begins in the traditional way, using the hands and classifying the grapes with the best size and consistency. Then, part of the fruit is de-stemmed and pressed. The rest is left to macerate with its skins to ferment for 5 days in stainless steel tanks.
It is then aged on its fine lees for a period of 9 months before bottling without clarifying or filtering.

Taste

Oriol Artigas La Rauxa is a fresh wine with citrus tones and flavours that perfectly balance the salinity that characterises it. Of course, the presence of white fruit with floral touches stands out. When you taste it, you will notice a long permanence on the palate with Mediterranean tones.

The cultivation and elaboration techniques make this wine an experience that revives memories of ancestors. It is perfect to combine with cured cheeses, cured meats, smoked meats and rice dishes.
