The sweet white 2022 MR was bottled in 375-milliliter bottles because they couldn't find 0.5-liter bottles, and they think they are going to continue like that in the future. It's very young, pale, delicate and a little shy, a little reductive, with 13.5% alcohol and 140 grams of sugar. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel vats, where it matured for 10 months. It was a very dry year and the wine doesn't have the freshness of the 2021 I tasted next to it. It's a little sweeter too... 16,134 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2023.

The sweet wine MR is an oenological jewel elaborated by Telmo Rodríguez in the region of Málaga. This wine is made from 100% Moscatel de Alejandría, a variety that provides a rich aromatic expression and a well-balanced natural sweetness.
Winemaking
The elaboration of MR involves a careful fermentation in French oak barrels for 8 months, which gives it a unique complexity and depth. After fermentation, the wine is further aged for 8 months in the same barrels, which enhances its distinctive characteristics and ensures exceptional quality.
Taste
MR is an unrivalled sensory experience. On the nose, it is very expressive and aromatic, with balsamic notes of bay leaf, hints of condensed milk and a subtle menthol nuance. These aromas are complemented by the varietal flavours typical of Muscat of Alexandria, offering a surprising richness and complexity. With an alcohol content of 13.5% and 132 grams of residual sugar per litre, MR achieves a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness. This balance is reflected in a vibrant and dynamic palate, with penetrating flavours and a long finish that leaves a lasting impression. Despite its sweetness, it is not cloying, making it an ideal choice to accompany desserts or to enjoy on its own.
