The Frisach L'Abrunet Negre wine is produced at the Celler Frisach winery under the Terra Alta Designation of Origin. It is enough to taste this young red wine to recognise the wisdom and the legacy of more than 200 years that this winery has inherited.
Thanks to the ancestral knowledge that has been passed down from generation to generation in the Frisach family, Joan and Francesc have been able to produce young wines of excellent quality, such as this organic red wine.
This red wine is made with Garnacha and Cariñena grapes, which are grown under organic principles, in clay and limestone soils.
The grapes are harvested by hand. The wine is then left to rest and fermented with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks. Finally, the wine is bottled without filtering or fining. It is stabilised by the winter cold and no sulphites are added.
The organic red wine Frisach L'Abrunet Negre has a beautiful intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. It is a fruity and balanced wine. On the nose it has a sweet aroma of ripe fruits and some herbal and spicy notes. It has a pleasant herbaceous finish, but it is not very persistent.
It is a slightly complex and fresh wine, which has good acidity, as well as creamy touches and well-integrated tannins.
A young and lively wine
