Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2024 La Santa de Úrsula has to be the finest vintage for this red from the zone of Tacoronte-Acentejo, and this year, it breaks down to 77% Listán Negro, 20% Negramoll and 3% Listán Blanco. There was a fire in the zone in 2023, and 2024 was dry and healthy—it's a humid zone that's prone to illnesses—with a good yield (10% less than in 2023) and balance. The wine has a perfumed nose, with high aromatic intensity and the spiciness that is so classical here, with depth and complexity. It comes in at 12% alcohol, with a pH of 3.33 and 6.18 grams of acidity. It has a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins, and it is stony and serious, with more elegance and finesse, like an improved version of 2021. 5,700 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2025.
