César Márquez Valtuille 2022
£21.58 (Inc. VAT bot. 75 cl.) / North Ireland
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The village red 2022 Valtuille Vino de Villa has more dark fruit and more of a sensation of ripeness but also more depth. He's focusing on sandy parts, and this year the grapes fermented with 15% full clusters. The wine aged in 500-liter barrels. It's juicy, round, harmonious and fruit-driven, with moderate ripeness and 13.2% alcohol. All of the wines from 2022 show elegance and freshness beyond the climatic conditions of the very warm and dry year. This has precision and purity. 6,890 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2024.
