Description
Buisson Renard is a white wine produced in the region of Pouilly Fumé, in the Loire Valley, France, by the renowned Domaine Didier Dagueneau winery. This wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, coming from vineyards located in a small plot in Saint-Andelain, with soils that combine clay and flint.
Winemaking
Fermentation and ageing for 12 months in the winery's special barrels of between 450 and 600 litres, designed to increase contact with the lees, which enhances its complexity, providing a creamy texture and great minerality.
Taste
Buisson Renard is characterised by an exotic and vibrant aromatic profile. On the nose, notes of citrus fruits, such as lime, stand out along with elderflower, ginger and honeysuckle. On the palate, it offers a creamy texture and a precise balance between freshness and concentration. Its acidity is not predominant, but is balanced by a subtly bitter sensation on the finish.
