Features

Description

Barrat Masson Les Volies Brut Nature champagne is an exquisite drink that comes from 40-year-old vineyards with a yield of 60 hectolitres per hectare. This wine is the result of meticulous organic viticulture certified by ECOCERT.
This champagne is composed of a perfect balance between two grape varieties: 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay. The terroir where these grapes are grown is basically clayey and calcareous, creating ideal conditions for the development of high quality grapes.

Winemaking

In the cellar, 100% of the heart of the cuvée is split, using the musts from the first and second pressing. Fermentation takes place in 600-litre oak barrels (demi-muid), and the wine is aged on the lees for approximately 9 months. Subsequently, the wine is aged for 36 months in the bottle for the second fermentation, and a manual disgorging is carried out without the addition of expedition liqueur (Brut Nature).

Taste

Barrat Masson Les Volies Brut Nature, with a limited annual production of 1,400 bottles, stands out for its unique and authentic taste. Its 0 g/L dosage makes it a Brut Nature wine, which means that it has no added sugars, offering a pure and unadulterated taste experience. This wine is ideal to be enjoyed now or can be kept for up to three years. It is recommended to be served at a temperature of approximately 12°C.
