The unoaked red blend 2022 Manga del Brujo was produced with 75% old-vine Garnacha, 10% Syrah, 10% Bobal (locally called Provechón) and 5% Mazuelo with more fruit from their own vineyards than in past vintages. This feels more serious than the Papa Luna, even if it's sold at a similar price. It's one of their most successful wines. It has more tannin, solid and balanced, very representative of the zone. It's ripe at 14.5% alcohol, their take on a Rhône blend. It was bottled in July 2024, the first of three bottlings.
