Description
Undoubtedly, this wine is interesting from its elaboration to its taste. Although Frisach L'Abrunet Blanc is a single varietal white wine, its winemaking process is so careful and even complex that it results in a unique wine that is perfect for almost any occasion.
The Celler Frisach winery was founded just a few years ago, but this family is known for having more than 200 years of dedication to viticulture, so this knowledge is reflected in each of their wines, as is the case of the organic wine Frisach L'Abrunet Blanc.
Elaboration
This wine is made from Garnacha Blanca or Vernatxa Blanca vines, as they still like to call it at the winery, as this is its original name. Grown organically in chalky clay soils on the Quart estate, which belongs to the Frisach family, respecting the cycles of nature.
Two harvests are made from the same vine, thus taking advantage of several stages of grape ripening. This makes it possible to obtain a natural acidity from the vine with fresh, citrus notes. The grapes are then blended and the best varietal expression is obtained.
Thewine is aged briefly in a steel tank on the lees, where it is fermented with spontaneous yeast and minimal intervention. It is not filtered, clarified or stabilised, nor are sulphites added.
Taste
The organic white wine Frisach L'Abrunet Blanc has a straw yellow colour with golden reflections. It is a fresh, balanced wine, with good acidity, citric touches, intense and elegant.
It has an aroma of white fruits with some citric notes and mineral hints. It also leaves bitter notes on the finish.
A doubly harvested wine, doubly exquisite.
The Frisach L'Abrunet Blanc wine, as we have already explained, is doubly harvested, so its flavour is unique and incomparable, perfect to pair with sushi and white meats.
Other dishes that go well with this wine are roast chicken and fish with creamy sauces. Whatever your choice is, we assure you that you will not regret it. We encourage you to try this amazing wine and let us know if you like it.
