Description
The Bàrbara Forés Rosat wine is an outstanding exponent of the dry land landscapes of the Mediterranean, where traditional agriculture and agro-ecology play a fundamental role.
Winemaking
This rosé is made from a careful cold skin maceration for 22 to 30 hours, followed by bleeding of the must. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for about 20 days, ensuring an authentic expression of the grapes and the terroir. The varieties used in this wine are Garnacha Tinta ( 57%), Syrah (22%) and Cariñena (21%), all organically grown and dry-farmed.
Taste
Bàrbara Forés Rosat is characterised by its onion skin colour, bright and attractive. On the nose, it offers a medium intensity with a predominance of red fruits and floral touches on a herbaceous background. On the palate, it is fresh and voluminous, with flavours of ripe red fruit in liqueur. The finish is floral with a herbaceous touch of medium persistence, making it ideal to enjoy on any occasion.
