Description
The wine La Riva Las 10 is a pasture-grazed white wine, made from 100% Palomino fino grapes. Its name is due to the fact that the fruit comes from a vineyard of ten aranzadas, which in the past belonged to the García de Velasco family.
It is classified as aromatic with very characteristic saline tones, but with a very subtle flavour. It is also elegant, an attribute that gives the wine the presence of the veil of flor during ageing and fermentation.
Winemaking
The wine La Riva Las 10 is made with cut grapes, after being harvested by hand, ensuring that the fruit arrives at the winery at an optimum point of ripeness.
The grapes are then subjected to a whole bunch pressing phase to extract the must, which is then bottled in 500-litre barrels to begin the fermentation process.
The fermentation process is carried out at room temperature so as not to alter the flavour and aroma of the fruit.
Finally, it is aged for 12 months in sherry casks under the veil of flor.
Taste
The wine La Riva Las 10 has a peculiar aroma of ripe white fruits. Its flavour has very accentuated salty tones balanced with mineral nuances. On the palate it is juicy, intense and dry with a long persistence.

La Riva Las 10 is a long-lived wine, as it manages to maintain the peculiarity of its flavour and aroma even with the passage of time. It is a good choice to accompany cold meats or cold appetizers.
