Buy Wine from La Sorga
Located in Languedoc, Béziers (France) and founded in 2008, La Sorga is a natural wine cellar created by Anthony Tortul. In the beginning, he rigorously selected and purchased grapes from local winegrowers who cultivated organically and biodynamically, and then vinified them in his winery. From 2013 onwards, they also started using grapes from their own vineyards.
La Sorga vineyards
In total, Anthony Tortul has come to work with around 25 hectares of 40 vineyards in the area that work according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. These have different soils - from sand and granite to calcareous clay, shale and basalt - and terroirs, different vineyard ages and a great mosaic of grape varieties (which are harvested by hand).
Wines of La Sorga
Using grapes grown organically and biodynamically in the vineyards of his region as raw material, Anthony Tortul vinifies his wines naturally, i.e. without additives or additives of any kind, in his cellar in Béziers. The aim is to respect the expressions of the terroir. The wide range of vineyards he works with also allows him to produce a very extensive and varied repertoire of wines, ranging from reds and whites to rosés and late harvests.
