Description
Fanny Sabre Bourgogne is a red wine of unparalleled elegance and surprising freshness. This wine originates from vineyards over 50 years old, cultivated with rigour and respect for the clay and limestone terroir, which confers an extraordinary complexity and unique character. It is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from several plots around the historic town of Beaune, which gives it the generic appellation of Bourgogne Rouge.
Winemaking
Fanny Sabre adopts natural and sustainable winemaking practices. The grapes are harvested by hand to ensure optimal bunch selection, and undergo whole bunch maceration in stainless steel tanks for 4-5 days. The wine is then aged in old oak barrels for 15-18 months, allowing the aromas and flavours to evolve and mature harmoniously.
