The 2012 Graf Zweigelt has a dark ruby color and opens with a deep, perfectly ripe, nicely oxidative and spicy nose with ripe cherry and cinnamon notes. On the palate, this is a pure, deep, fresh, plummy, tightly woven Zweigelt with floral aromas and good vitality. Tasted July 2018.

Skin contact maceration for 15 days. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in 2,900 litre barrels. Aged for 23 months in 225 litre barrels. Bottled unfined, unfiltered and without added sulphites.
